I'm Tyler! For the last few years, I’ve been focusing on designing innovative solutions that amplify our day-to-day experiences and inspire moments of delight and connection.
I believe that technology is an ever-evolving tool, essential to empowering our lives and actions. It's my job to research, test, and design solutions for our everyday needs through understanding and working with the people I design for.

Years of Experience
Everything’s a Game.
I’ve studied game design for the unique perspective it affords in the crossroads of interaction and design. I've learned the psychology of players, run hundreds of user research studies, and shared compassion with real people to craft moments of delight in the lives of millions.
Gamification is always in the back of my mind as a powerful tool, so I'm constantly looking for ways to motivate and inspire joy. There's a lot we can learn from ludology when applied to alternate industries.
No Design Vacuums here!
The most inspired design never comes from one person. Every problem I tackle comes with unique obstacles, so I involve cross-functional teams, driving diverse perspectives to collaborative solutions. I believe the most effective teams work together to become something greater than the sum of their parts, through trust, respect, and passion.
The products I design continually evolve, backed by data and research, derived directly from users. Along every step of the way, I inform decisions and designs with human-centered analysis that supports the needs and outcomes we aspire to create. It's essential to include the voice of the people we serve; they're the most valuable feedback we could ask for.
I believe in equity in health.
The mission of Howard Brown Health is to eliminate the disparities in healthcare experienced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people through research, education and the provision of services that promote health and wellness.
Vernita Gray Council for Philanthropy
This year, I joined a passionate and dynamic auxiliary board made up of influencers and innovators who further the mission and vision of Howard Brown through fundraising, community engagement, and community representation. Named after Vernita Gray, the Council honors a longtime champion of the rights of LGBTQ people, African Americans, and women who served as a community volunteer, donor, and advocate.
