Kitchen. Everything.
THE PROBLEM
Everyday Things was attending a local conference where they wanted to showcase an application and website that complimented their products. On such a tight schedule, it was vital for presentable prototypes to be ready for market viewing ASAP.
THE SOLUTION
I designed around three resolutions, maintaining a consistent style that adapted responsively. Focusing on one round of comprehensive feedback, it was important to bring an initial design close to fruition.
ASSET PACKAGE
Provided with the project were a handful of copy requirements, as well as a color palette and images to populate the page with content.
SPEED TO MARKET
In the interest of a quick turnaround, a mockup was designed for mobile, web, and tablet. This demonstrated the design across multiple resolutions, and showcased that content and brand identity would be maintained throughout different touchpoints. The Sketch file was also set up to be easily changed, so color palette, UI elements, images and font styling can be edited quickly.
CUSTOMER FEEDBACK
The feedback on the rapid prototypes was mainly minor copy changes, along with some alignment and color modifications. In the interest of speed to market, we began working on presentable mocks of the design with the feedback implemented.
On the coattails of the iPhone X release, the customer also wanted to see their project designed on that device, so the mobile mocks were reformatted to fit the environment of the iPhone X.
